About Suburban Home Care

Why Choose Suburban Home Care

Our agency has been a Veteran and Family-Owned Small Business since 1995. We are fully licensed through the Illinois Department of Public Health and follow all of their policies and procedures. We are bonded and insured, allowing our clients peace of mind that they are fully protected when receiving care in their home.

There are several great reasons why Suburban Home Care® should be your choice for quality homecare. All of our Certified Nursing Assistants and Home Health Aides are screened, trained, bonded and insured.

Every family needs to be aware that almost every Homeowner’s insurance policy specifically excludes anyone working within your home. If the person you hire becomes injured while working for you, you will become personally responsible for all of their medical bills. This has left several families very vulnerable when their caregiver injured themselves at their home.

The potential to lose everything you have worked so hard to achieve seems an unnecessary risk. Every one of Suburban Home Care®s employees are completely covered by insurance so you and your loved ones can relax knowing that if something unforeseen happens to your caregiver, they are completely covered by insurance.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide the best service, care and match for you and your family.

Why is in-home care better?

The healing power of home. There’s tons of evidence that shows patients heal more quickly and live longer due to the emotional wellbeing of living in the comfort of their home.

Home care allows the most amount of freedom for the individual. Hospitals and nursing homes offer more regimented, regulated environments. Home care offers a reassuring, individualized setting.

Home care is personalized care. Home care is tailored to the needs of each individual who wishes to age-in-place, and it is delivered on a one-to-one basis.

Home care involves the individual as well as the family in the care that is delivered. The patient and their  family actively plan and  participate in their  care and well being. “Care Log Sheets” are filled out daily to monitor client’s progress and care, helping to communicate the day-to-day happenings of their elderly family member.
Caregivers come to you. There are comfortable,  positive feelings that all of us associate with being home. When we are not feeling well, the first thought that comes to mind is retreating back to the sanctity of our residence and the joy of being with our loved ones.

Seniors independence is the goal. None of us want to helpless or dependent on others. With some assistance, seniors can continue to function as viable members of their family and they can be a part of our society, all while staying in their homes.

Preventing or postponing institutionalization. Not many patients choose to be placed in a nursing home, unless it’s the only place where they can obtain the 24-hour care that they need.

Home care is provided by passionate people. Employees of Suburban Home Care look at their work as a calling.  Our employees are highly trained and dedicated to what they do.
